Other Information

Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were used during the research on this Mail Pouch sign. In Photos 2 & 3 the building with the Mail Pouch sign is circled inyellow. This sign has been gone for many years and it was not possible to determine if the Mail Pouch sign was existing in the 1947 aerial photo. The house across OH-124/OH-833 is still existing and has been circled in red for coordination.

Photo 4 (Google satellite image) the building location is noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates. The house across OH-124/OH-833 is circled in red.
Where to find it

*GONE (razed and removed)* Northeast corner of the E. Main St. (OH Rt. 833) & Nye Ave. intersection, in Pomeroy. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One side. Black background.
