Other Information

This historic photo was originally posted by Deanan Powell. Jeff Johanning noted the Mail Pouch sign toward the center of the photo and partially hidden by the Good Year sign, and brought it to our attention.

The building is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1956). This building is still remaining and is visible in Photo 2. 1956 is the earliest date available in the historic images and by that date the service station had been razed and removed.
Where to find it

Along the south side of W. Main St. just west of the intersection with N. Commerce St., in Portland. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One side. Black background.
