Other Information
Photo 1 is an eenlarged inset view from Photo 2.
In Photo 1 it is clear that the words MAIL POUCH are shaded indicating that this is a Red Background sign.
The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to pin point the location of where this barn once stood.
Photo 3 the Mail Pouch sign on the southwest endo of the barn is barely discernible. In this photo the barn is circled in yellow and the house (which still exists) is circled in red.
Photo 4 is provided for location coordination. In this photo the barn is circled in yellow, the house is circled in red; and, the pond and the end of the greenhouses (which are visible at the right, in Photo 2) are circled in lime.
Photo 5 is a Google satellite image. The location of where the barn once stood is marked by the red pin. The location is now occupied by a garage. The red pin was used to determine the address and coordinates. The existing house is circled in red.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed & removed - a garage now in the location) Along the west side of US-42 W, south of the intersection with OH-229 (High St), in Ashley, by 0.8 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed southwest from Ashley. The Mail Pouch sign faced southwest. One end. Red Background.
