Other Information

The Penn Pilot program was used to determine the location of where this barn once stood. In Photo 4 the barn is highlighted in yellow. The buildings circled in red are visible in Photos 1 & 2; however, they have since been razed and removed. There is a newer mobile home on the property across from where the barn once stood. Photo 5 (google Earth view) is provided to show that the red pin is centered on the remains of the barn foundation. This photo is provided in the event that later Google Earth views do not show the foundation remains.

Where to find it

*GONE (razed and removed)* Along Woodrow Dr. (T Rd 879) just northwest of the intersection with PA Rt. 50 (Avella Rd.) by 0.2 mile. The Woodrow Dr./PA Rt. 50 (Avella Rd.) intersection is southwest of the Wabash Ave. intersection, in Hickory, by about 3.0 miles. The Mail Pouch side of the barn faced southwest toward PA Rt. 50. The Mail Pouch end of the barn faced southeast toward the Woodrow Dr./Avella Rd. intersection. Black background.
