Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to locate this barn. Photo 4 is an ODOT 1962 view which shows that the Mail Pouch sign was on the east end of the barn as of that date. In Photo 5 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The house, which still exists, is circled in red. Note in this view (ODOT 1961 photo) to the left of the barn, that Roseville Rd. (OH-93) was under construction as that date. Rose Hill Rd (CR-696) was the main route north from Roseville and the Mail Pouch sign was on the east end of the barn facing that road. There would not have been a sign on the west end of the barn.

Photo 6 (Google satellite image) the Mail Pouch barn location is noted by the red pin. This pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates. The house, still existing, is circled in red.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side or Rose Hill Rd (CR-696) north of the Main St. intersection, in Roseville, by 1.3 miles. The barn was on the left side of the road headed north from Roseville. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black Background.
