Other Information

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1984). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal cordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the exact location where the barn once stood. The pin was used to determine the address for the entry.

Photos 1 & 2 are views if the southeast side of the barn.

Photos 3 & 4 are views of the northwest side of the barn.

Photo 5 is a view looking in at the site from US-136.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of E US-136 (W. Main St.) west of Maple St. intersection, in Pittsboro, by 1.2 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed west. Two sides. Black backgrounds.
