The Sardis Ohio wharf boat. The boat in the background is probably the Beryl ferry, which was a gas sternweel ferry boat from Sardis Ohio to Mendota WV (north of Paden City). It is 'possible' that the background boat is the Kate Paden, which was another ferry from Sardis to Mendota. Note the faint lettering of 'Mail Pouch' on either side of the door.
