The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to located this barn.
Photo 3 is a 1957 ODOT aerial photo showing the Mail Pouch sign on the south end of the barn.
Photo 4 is a 1959 ODOT aerial photo showing the barn and other buildings shown in Photo 2. In the photo the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The two buildings north of the Mail Pouch barn are circled in lime; and, the house, which still remains is circled in red.
Photo 5 is an April 1970 ODOT aerial photo which shows that the Mail Pouch barn was gone by that date. The two other buildings directly north of the Mail Pouch barn were still existing and are circled in lime. The House is circled in red.
Photo 6 (Google satellite image) the location of where the Mail Pouch barn was located in noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of Ridge Rd. (OH-94) north f the I-271 intersection by 0.7 mile. The barn was on the left side of Ridge Rd headed north from I-271. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black Background.
