Other Information
The initial information on the location of this barn was provided to Ryan Eash by Reid W. Prinkey. In his note to Ryan, Reid further states that the wood from the barn was reused in a house not far from the original location of the barn. To pinpoint the barn location, based on Prinkey's information, the Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used. Photo 3 (ODOT aerial photo) shows the Mail Pouch barn which is circled in yellow. Photo 4 (Google satellite image) the barn location is indicated by the red pin. The area of the barn is clearly shown in Photo 4. The red pin was used to determine the addres and coordinates.
Photo 2 is an ODOT aerial photo that has been rotated 90° and magnified for a better view of the Mail Pouch sign.
