Other Information
Very unusual barn with a Mail Pouch sign painted on the side of the barn away from the road and facing the fields behind (see photo 28). As an update, Dennis Madia visited the site in Mar. 2022 and found that the Mail Pouch sign on the south side of the barn is visible from Browning Rd. (CR-309). This is still unusual since Browning Rd. is not a main road and typically the Mail Pouch sign painters made sure that the signs were in view from main Highways.
Photos 1-11 are views of the west end of the barn.
Photos 12-27 are views of the east end of the barn.
Photos 28-31 are views of the south side of the barn.
Where to find it
*PARTIAL GONE* (East end painted over) US Rt. 50 est of Rainsboro by about 1.5 miles. The barn is on the right side of the highway headed east. Two ends (east and west). One side (south). Black. Greatly faded.
