Other Information
Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view of Photo 2.
All known available resources were searched trying to locate a better photo of the Mail Pouch barn.
The distance measurement tool on the Historic Aerials' website was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the Mail Pouch barn. The barn is clearly visible in the Historic Aerials' imagery (1960). The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 5 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. The pin was used to determine the entry address.
Photo 4 is a view looking into the site toward the location where the Mail Pouch once stood.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the south side of East Pike (US-22/US-40) east of the intersection with the I-70 - 157 exit. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed east. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One side. Red background.
