Other Information

The Ohio Department of Transportation Aerial Photo archives were used to determine the exact location of where this barn once stood. In Photos 6 - 9 the house which is still existing is circled in red for coordination. In Photos 6 & 7 the barn is circled in yellow. In the Google satellite image the location of where the barn was located is marked by the red pin.

Photo 8 is an Ohio Dept. of Trans aerial photo dated Apr. 2, 1986. It is clear that the barn was gone by that date. The approximate location of where the barn stood is indicated by the yellow circle.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of W. Akron - Canfield Rd./US Rt. 224, west of OH Rt. 45, in Ellsworth, by 2.7 miles. The barn was on the right side of the road headed west from Ellsworth. Two ends & One side. Mail Pouch sign on the west end. Melo-Crown Stogies on the east end (Previous to the Melo-Crown sign a Mail Pouch sign was on the east end). Mail Pouch sign on the south side. Black backgrounds.
