Other Information

Historic Aerial imagery was used to positively determine where this barn once stood. Confirms Lonnie Schnauffer's note on his photo that the barn was south of OH-103, in Chatfield by about 2.0 miles, on the east side of the highway. The distance measurement tool was used to determne the decimal coordinates. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the site positively determined to be the site shown in Photos 2 & 3.)

The red pin on Photo 10 was used to determine the address for the entry.

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

Photos 1-7 are views of the south end of the barn. As far as can be determined there was only a Mail Pouch sign on the south end.

Photo 8 is the only view of the north end of the barn. It is clear that over time there has been a Mail Pouch sign and a Kentucky Club sign on the north end of the barn.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) OH-4 south of OH-103, in Chatfield, by 2.3 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed south from Chatfield. There were Mail Pouch and  Kentucky Club signs at various times on the north end of the barn. It appears that there was only a Mail Pouch sign on the south end of the barn. Two ends.
