Bill Brown reported that this barn was torn down in 2009.
The entire site was cleared and the land repurposed to accomodate the construction of the highway merge point for the Southern Beltway Toll Rd. (PA-576) with I-79.
Photos 14, 16, 18 & 19 (Google street views) are all taken in the approximate same location on Morganza Rd.
The barn is clearly visible on Historic Aerials imagery (1975). The distance measurement tool was used to determine the decimal coordinates for the center of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 20 is the exact location where the barn once stood.
Where to find it
*GONE (torn down)* Washington Pike (Morganza Road), just south of the Allegheny county line. Exit off of I-79 at exit 10A, then about a mile to the barn. It was on the right side of the road headed south across the road from Lakeview Christian Life Church. One end. Black.
