Other Information

Photo 2 has been rotated 180° and magnified to confirm that correct barn. The Mail Pouch sign is visible. A Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo ODOT # 1957-1-10, dated Apr. 20, 1962 shows that the Mail Pouch sign had not been painted on the end of the barn at that date.

The Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. Note that the northeast end of the barn was clear of any trees and shrubs at that date making for a good view of the Mail Pouch sign from Raiders Rd (old OH-16). In Photo 4 the aerial photo shows how the trees and shrubs have grown by the 1990's making the view of the Mail Pouch sign very difficult - see Photo 1.

Photo 5 (Google satellite image) The red pin marks the location of the Mail Pouch barn. This pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the south side of Raiders Rd. (Old OH-16) east of OH-60 by 0.6 mile. The barn was on the right side of Raiders road headed east from OH-60. The Mail Pouch sign faced northeast. One end. Black Bacjground.
