Other Information

Photo 2 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 3.

The barn and other buildings on the site in Photos 3 & 4 are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1987). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

The 'STUCKEY'S' advertising sign was over painted the orginal Mail Pouch sign and it was not until that sign began to fade away that the old orignal Mail Pouch sign was seen.

Photo 5 is a view from US-231 looking in toward where the barn once stood. Trees and foliage now block this view.
Where to find it

*GONE* Along the west side of N. Main St. (US-231) north of US-40 intersection by 1.4 miles. The barn was on the left side of US-231 headed north away from US-40. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One end. Black background.
