Other Information

The barn and the buildings beyond are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1964, 1986, 1998, 2003 & 2005). After 2005 the next available historic imagery is 2010 and the barn and other builidngs had all been razed and removed by that date. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 4 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 3 is a view from US-5- looking in toward the site where the barn once stood.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the south side of US-50 just east of the Huron and Williams Rd. intersection, just north of Huron, by 140'. The Mail Pouch sign (which had been almost completly covered by siding) faced east. One side. Black background.
