Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view of Photo 2 which was taken during the 1936 Sandy Lick Creek flood.

Photo 3 (Google street view) taken in the same proximity as Photo 1. Building at the left and the building at the right across the RR tracks are both still existing. The Mail Pouch sign has been sandblasted away and the walll repainted; or, the Mail Pouch sign was left and it was overpainted. The balck and white photo does not allow for determining what the background colors would have been on this unique Mail Pouch sign.

The red pin on Photo 4 was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (sandblasted away and/or painted over) Along the southwest side of W. Lone Ave. just to the northwest of the RR tracks, in DuBois. The Mail Pouch sign faced southeast. One side.
