Other Information

The Mail Pouch sign was originally painted on the building in 1981. Notice in Photo 1 that when the building was originally painted the bottom did not have the two doors with the donkey. Harley repainted the barn in 1989 and at that time he added the bottom doors with the donkey. It was repainted one last time, in 1995, by Harley Warrick and Drew Matta, a friend of Harley's. Drew Matta owns the barn with sign MPB 35-10-01, in Carroll Co, OH.

Notified by Francis Romer on April 15, 2016 that the sign has been painted over with tan paint.

*GONE (Painted over tan)* Goldsmith-Syndor Warehouse Building at 602 8th Ave. (WV Rt. 527), in Huntington. The building, which backs up to the RR tracks, is between 6th St. & 7th St. The building is on the left side of 8th Ave. headed northeast from 6th St. The MP sign faces southeast. One side. Brick building. Black.
