Photo 1 was taken in O'Brien during a Green River flood (ca. 1906). O'Brien was a small community, in the Green River Valley, just north of today's Green Valley Natural Resources Area. The community was built along the right bank of the river. The community, which disappeared due to flood water management and area redevelopment, once had its own Post Office and school. The coordinates below are approximate and provided to a general location of where the old O'Brien community once stood.
