*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southwest side of Midland Ave. (PA-68/PA-168), in Midland between 9th St. & 10th St. This area was cleared to make room for the Boro of Midland Police Dept. The area on the opposite side of the avenue was cleared for the Rite Aid Pharmacy and for the park area at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. The cooling towers at the Beaver Valley Power Station are visible in the rear at the left of Photo 2. The area was on right side of Midland Ave. headed southeast from 9th St. toward 10th.
