Other Information

Photo 2 is a view of the Mail Pouch sign (at the far left of the view), taken during the Ohio River flood of 1937. The Carnegie Steel mill's blast furnaces are visible in the background.

The last view of the Mail Pouch sign is Photo 9 (Google street view) taken in Sept. 2013. It is unknown the condition of the sign in 2022; however, until confirmed the status will remain as 'Greatly Faded'.

Original black background; however, the brick color has bled through.

Photo 3 is taken from behind the building.
Where to find it

On Commercial St., in Mingo Junction, just northeast from MPS 35-41-01. The MP sign faces southwest. One side. Brick building. Original black; however, the brown color of the brick is bleeding through.
