Other Information

It appears, from looking at Photos 1-3 and Photo 4 that when the building was modified a new exterior wall was added (at least to the east side) and therefore, since the Mail Pouch sign was painted directly on the side of the building, it may still be existing and covered over.

The Ohio Dept. of Transportaion aerial photos were used to determine the exact location of the Mail Pouch sign. Reference Photos 5 & 6. Photo 5 (rotated 90° for a good close up view of the Mail Pouch sign. This Photo is an enlarged inset view from Photo 6. In Photo 6, the building is circled in yellow. Coordinate the circled building with the red pin on the Google satellite image (Photo 7).
Where to find it

*GONE* (probably covered over) Along the north side of Harding Way W, in Galion, just past the Portland Way intersection. The Mail Pouch sign was a 'Plaque' stye sign painted directly on the east side of the Riverside Distributor. One side. Black background.
