Other Information

Steve Shaluta reported that the owner razed and removed the barn sometime during the mid to late 1990's.

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1973). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 25 is the location where the barn once stood. The coordinates were used to determine the address for the entry.

Photos 1-15 are views of the southeast side of the barn.

Photos 16-23 are views of the northwest side of the barn.
Where to find it

*GONE* Along the southwest side of Seneca Trail (US-219/WV-55) north of WV-39 intersection, in Marlinton, by 13.0 miles. South of Slatyfork. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed northwest. Two sides. Black backgrounds.
