Other Information

Location based on information from Larry Zinn. Larry's information states that this barn was along US-250 just south of the barn the website ID's as MPB 48-01-03. A study of Historic Aerials' imagery (1960's-1986) from MPB 48-01-03 south to Belington, shows the location noted as the only viable candidate for the barn. The location south of MPB 48-01-03; the configuration of the barn for the Mail Pouch sign to be clearly seen from US-250; the distant landscape, as shown in Photo s 1 & 2. The Zinn negatives show the MPB 48-01-03 photos as being #'s 19-22. The negatives for MPB 48-01-07 are #'s 23 & 24. In addtion the Photos for 19-24 were taken early evening and are relatively dark when compared to MPB 48-01-01 which are the photos # 14-18 and this barn was along US-250 north of MPB 48-01-03.
