Other Information
Mary Brown reported, in January 2010, that this barn had been torn down. A review of USDA/FPAC/GEO satellite image dated May 27, 2008 shows the site cleared by that date.
Photo 2 is a photo of a print of the barn. No Artist information or date was provided. It obviously predated Photo 1 because of the condition of the Mail Pouch sign. In addition, it is this view that notes that the Mail Pouch Background was red, with shadowed lettering.
Photo 9 is a 2004 satellite image which clearly shows the barn (circled in yellow) and the house, visible at the right of the barn in Photo 1 (circled in red). This house has also been razed and removed.
Photo 10 (Google satellite image) the location of where the barn stood is noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the northwest side of old PA Rt. 100 (N. Reading Avenue) north of the Weisstown Rd intersection, in New Berlinsville, by 0.4 mile. The barn was on the left side of N. Reading Ave. headed northeast from New Berlinsville. The Mail Pouch sign faced southwest. One end. Red Background.
