The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to locate this barn.
Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.
Photo 3 shows the Mail Pouch sign on the end of the barn in 1969.
Photo 5 shows that the Mail Pouch sign was painted over by July 1973.
Photos 6 & 7 are views of the barn with the Mail Pouch sign painted over.
Photo 8 is 1971 aerial photo showing the site existing as shown in Photo 2.
Photo 9 (Google satellite image) shows the barn and house removed and the site cleared. The only building remaining from Photo 2 is the Belden Brick Co, building. The red pin on the map is where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. This pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it *GONE* (painted over and subsequently razed and removed) Along the northwest side of Edelweiss Dr NE (CH-73) northeast of Dover Rd NE (OH-39), in Sugarcreek, by 0.1 mile. The barn was on the left side of Edelweiss Dr. headed northeast from Dover Dr. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Red Background.
