Other Information

The MP sign on this barn had been covered over and it appears that in Photo 1 the siding that covered the Mail Pouch sign may have been white. Note Photo 3 which is 1967 aerial photo looking directly at the side of the barn. The side appears white in 1967 which would indicate that the Mail Pouch sign predated 1967.

Photo 2 (Google street view) shows that the barn had been razed by November 2021.

Where to find it

*GONE * (razed and removed) US Rt. 68 north of Kenton by about 3.0 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed north. The MP sign faced south. One side. Black.
