Other Information

Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photos were used to determine the location of this barn. Originally the only view of the barn on file was Photo 2 (Vintage Aerial). It was not until researching the location that it was found that there was a Mail Pouch sign on both ends of the barn (ODOT Photos 1 & 3). The location was aided by the view of the house in Photo 2 to the left of the Mail Pouch barn. This house is visible in Photos 3-5 and is circled in 'Lime'. The barn is circled in 'Yellow'. Finally the location was coordinated by comparing Photos 5 & 6.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along US Rt. 62 southwest of the intersection with OH Rt. 353, in Redoak, by about 0.1 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed southwest.
