Other Information

Primary locationation information was provided by the Shavers. Using that information the aerial photos of the aera from ODOT were studied until the barn was located.

Photos 2-4 are the same ODOT aerial photo at different altitudes. In Photo 2 the close up image shows the variance in the sides of the roof. This was crossreferenced in Photo 1. This was used to determine that the Mail Pouch sign was on the west end of the barn. Photos 3 & 4 are same view at different altitudes to show the details of the area surrounding the site for comparrison with Photo 5 (Google satellite image) This was used to finalize where the barn had been located and was used to develop the location information and the coordinates. In Photos 2-4 the barn is circled in yellow. On Photo 5 the red Google pin is the approximate location of the barn based on the ODOT aerial photos.

Martha Dougherty reported, on June 17, 2015, that this barn is gone.
