ODOT aerial photos were used to locate this barn.
In Photo 2 (ODOT Nov. 7, 1984 aerial photo) the Mail Pouch sign on the west side of the barn is visible.
In Photo 3 (Vintage Aerial 1988 photo) it is shown that the Mail Pouch sign has been painted over.
In Photo 1 (Gyla Schnauffer's Sept. 2000 view) the old Mail Pouch sign is bleeding through the overpaint.
For further confirmation of the barn location, note in Photos 1 and 4 the 2nd and the 4th (from the right) metal roofing sheets are faded in exactly the same way.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed. New barn in same location). Along OH-67 (Plank Pike Rd. east of US Rt. 33 intersection by about 0.5 mile. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed east toward Wapakoneta. The Mail Pouch sign was on the west side of the barn.
