Other Information

The Ohio Department of Transportation, Aerial Photographic files were used to determine the exact location of where this barn once stood. Refer to Photos 3 & 4 (1987 ODOT Aerial Photo). In Photos 4 & 5 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yelow. In addition, in Photo 5 the residence across Bishopville Rd is circled in red. In Photo 6, which is a Google Earth satellite image, the same residence is circled in red for coordination. Barn address and coordinates were developed using this information.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) The barn was located along the south side of Bishopville Rd (OH-78) east of the intersection with OH Rt 13 (Broad St.), just north of Glouster, by 0.8 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed east. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Black backround.
