Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn, other buildings and the site configuration (Photos 2-4) are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1965). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the barn was once located.

Photo 5 (Google street view - July 2023) shows that the barn was still existing as of that date; however, the Mail Pouch sign had been panted over. In a more recent Google satellite image the barn is now *GONE*. The house as shown in Photos 2, 3 & 4 is still existing.
Where to find it

*GONE* Along the north side of W Lincoln Way northwest of the US-30 intersection, in Columbia City, by 5.8 miles. The barn was on the right side of Lincoln Way headed west. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One side. Black background.
