Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn, house and site configuration are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1957-1983). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 4 is the exact location of the Mail Pouch barn.

Historic Aerials' imagery (1998-2005) seem to show rubble indicating that the barn may have fallen. In subsequent imagery (2008-2022) the tree cover is so thick it is not possibe to determine if the rubble remains or if the site has been cleared. There is no Google street view imagery available for this section of E Blue Star Hwy.
Where to find it

*GONE* (fallen) Along the south side of E Blue Star Hwy (this was the old US-24 rte) east of Lagro by 3.5 miles. The barn was on the right side of E Blue Star Hwy,headed east from Lagro. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black background.
