Other Information

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1986). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 4 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 2 is a view from IN-37 looking in toward the site. The foliage along the highway block the views.

Historic imagery indicates that subsequent to 1969 a section of IN-37 was rerouted toward the northwest; and, that subsequent to 1998 a portion of IN-237 was rerouted to the southeast.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southeast side of IN-37 just northeast of the intersection with IN-237. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One side. Black background.
