Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1959). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordiantes for the center of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 5 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. The pin was used to determine the address for the entry.

Photo 4 is a view looking into the site from IN-38.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southwest side of IN-38 east of the IN-3 intersection, in New Castle, by 3.9 miles. The barn was on the right side of IN-38 headed east out of New Castle. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Black background.
