Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn and site configuration is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1969). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the center of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 4 is the exact loction where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 3 is a view from N. Avon Ave. looking in toward where the barn was once located.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of N. Avon Ave (IN-267) north of the US-36 intersection, in Avon, by 1.6 miles. The barn was on the right side of N. Avon Ave. headed north from US-36. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end (possible two ends). Red background.
