Other Information

The barn and the other buildings shown in Photo 1 are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1983). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is the exact location where the barn once stood.

The barn was razed and the site cleared to make room for the new Residential complex. The address given below is based on the new road system. Driving to the address will put you very close to the location where the barn once stood. Photo 2 is a view looking in from S. Avon Ave. toward where the barn was located.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of S. Avon Ave. (CR 700 E) south of the Rockville Rd. (US-36) intersection, in Avon, by 1.7 miles. The barn was on the left side of S. Avon Ave. headed south from US-36. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black background.
