Tom Plimpton's location information was US-41 north of IN-64 by about 3.0 miles. Google map's distance tool shows 3.1 miles.
The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1984). The distance menasurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is the exact location of the barn.
Photo 2 is a Google street view looking in at the site from US-41.
Although the barn was very close to US-41, the address below is for the farm in the distance (see Photo 2) since this is property belonging to that farm.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of US-41 north of IN-64 by 3.1 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed north from IN-64. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Black background.
