Other Information

The Myron Huffman location states "Old US Rt. 31 south of IN Rt. 110 by 0.7 miles." Using the Google maps distance indicator, the barn in the photo is exactly 0.7 mile south of IN-110.

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagry. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates. The red pin on Photo 2 is the exact location where the barn stood. Further review of later date imagery indicates that the barn was gone by 1980. There were buildings on the site until 2014 imagery which shows the site completely cleared.

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of N Old US-31 north of IN-14/IN-25 (9th St.) intersection, in Rochester, by 6.8 miles. The barn was on the right side of N Old US-31 headed north from Rochester. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One end. Black background.
