Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2; Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.

The barn and the other buildings in Photo 2 & 4 are clearly shown in Historic Aerials' imagery (1965). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn stood. The pin was used to determine the address for the entry.

Photo 5 is a view looking in at the site toward where the barn was once located. The entire site had been developed into a residentual complex.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of US-41 north of the intersection with I-74 by 1.3 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed north from I-74. Mail Pouch sign on the east side; and, Mail Pouch sign on the north end. Black backgrounds.
