Other Information
Photo 2 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 3. Provided to show the barely visible word 'CHEW' on the end of the barn. Compare with Photo 1.
Photo 4 is a 1974 photo of the barn showing that at that time the Mail Pouch sign was not visible at all, having been overpainted. The sign was beginning to bleed through in Photos 2 & 3 (1979) views.
Historic Aerials' imagery (1983) clearly shows this barn. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 5 is the location where the barn once stood.
Photo 5 (Google satellite image) the red pin is the approximate location of where the barn was located. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it
*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of US-24 west of the intersection with US-35 (just west of Logansport) by 2.1 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed west from US-35. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Original black background.
