Other Information

Photo 2 is taken from Tenderfoot Hill looking south at the town of Salida.  The Arkansas River and the Denver & Rio Grande RR Depot are in the foreground.  There is a RR bridge at the lower right crossing the Arkansas River.  The bridge and the RR tracks have been removed and the old track bed is now the 'Monarch Spur Trail' which is used recreationally for hiking and for bike riding.

Where to find it

*GONE (Razed and removed)* The building with the BD sign was located on what is now E. 1st St., in Salida. The view in the photo looks south. Head southwest on the main street (Now N. F St.) and make a left at the first intersection. The BD sign was on the second building on the right. One side. Black.
