Other Information

The Penn Pilot program was used to locate this Mail Pouch barn. Photo 5 (Penn Pilot) shows the barn is highlighted in yellow and the small structure in the field (noted in photos 3 & 4) is circled in red.

Photos 1 & 2 are enlargements from Photo 3.

The barn remains; however, due to the trees, it is not possible to determine whether or not the sign has been painted over or has faded away or is faintly visible.  In April 2018, Don Johnson travelled to the site and took photos 7-10 which show that the Mail Pouch sign remains.
Where to find it

TR-536 (Old PA-51) west of intersection with PA-51 (Pittsburgh Rd.) by about 0.5 mile. This intersection is about 3.5 miles north of the PA-51/US-119 intersection, in Uniontown. The barn is on the left side of the road, back in the trees. The Mail Pouch sign faceS north. One side. Black background.
