Photo 4 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 5.
The Mail Pouch barn and the other buildings shown in Photo 5 are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1983). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the Mail Pocuh barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 8 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. Photo 8 shows that the entire site has been cleared.
Photo 7 is a view from Straight Fork looking in at the site where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the northeast side of Straight Fork (WV-3), east of Baker St. intersection, in Hamlin, by 2.6 miles. The barn was on the left side of Straight Fork headed east from Hamlin. Mail Pouch sign faced southwest. One side. Black background.
