Other Information

Photo 4 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 5.

Note the details in the front of the Mail Pouch building and the building attached to the east. The Mail Pouch building has been razed and removed. Looking at Photo 6 the details of the attached building match the details in Photo 1. In addition Photo 2 which is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2 clearly shows the stepped roofline features shown in Photo 1 on the Mail Pouch building. The building is circled in yellow in Photo 2. The Mail Pouch sign is circled in red and it is clear that the Mail Pouch sign had a black background. Although Latrobe St. deadends just to the west of the Mail Pouch building, the Mail Pouch sign was clearly visible to traffic travelling east on W. Main St.

The building is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1997) and the slopped roof detail shown in Photo 2 is clearly visible in the Historic Aerials' imagery. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the building. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 7 is the building location.

Based on the information above, the building location is positively ID'd.

Historic Aerials' imagery dated 2003 shows the building had been razed and removed by that date.
Where to find it
