Other Information

Photos 1 & 3 are enlarged inset views from Photos 2 & 4.

The two barns, the house and the site configuration, shown in Photos 2 & 4, are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1958). The barns are now both gone;; however, the house still remains. The distance measurement tool was used to obtains the decimal coordinates of the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 8 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 7 is a view from IN-39 looking in at the site. Note the house in the background is shown in Photos 2 & 4.
Where to find it

*GONE* (fallen and removed) Along the east side of IN-39 south of Bluff St. (IN-119) intersection, in Buffalo, by 0.8 mile. The barn was on the left side of IN-39 headed south out of Buffalo. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Red background.
