Other Information

Photo 2 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 3.

Historic Aerials' imagery was used to locate this barn. The barn, other buildings and the site configuration are clearly visible in various views dated 1947 - 2010. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the barn once stood.

Aerial imagery indicates that the barn was existing up until 2010; however, imagery dated 2012 indicates that the barn had been razed and removed by that date. Note in Photo 5 that the silo still remains as of 2023.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the northwest side of IN-56 southwest of the Tarr Ave. intersection, in Salem, by 4.2 miles. The barn was on the right side of IN-56 headed southwest from Salem. The Mail Pouch sign faced east.  One side. Black background.
