Other Information

The barn and other buildings are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1981). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 2 is a view from IN-43 looking in toward the site where the barn once stood. Note the utility mast in this view which is also visible in Photo 1.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of N. River Rd. (IN 43) north of I-65, by 0.5 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed north from I-65. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black background.
