Other Information

Historic Aerials' imagery (1986) was used to determine the location of this barn. The Google street view indicates foliage and trees along the east side of IN-37. A review of the Historic Aerials' imagery indicates that during the period 1958-1986 there were no trees and foliage along the east side of IN-37, which would have allowed for a good, clear view of the Mail Pouch sign when travelling north on IN-37. Considering the condition of the Mail Pouch sign in Photo 1 it is probably a 1960's vintage sign.
Where to find it

*GONE* Along the east side of IN-37 north of the interection with IN-64 by 4.5 miles. The barn was on the right side of IN-37 headed north. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black background.
